Be it security of electronic systems, distributed intelligence, the Internet of Things, e-mobility or energy efficiency - the embedded world in Nuremberg lets you experience the whole world of embedded systems. And at this year's embedded world, Paessler AG presented outstanding new solutions!

First of all, let's address the elephant in the room: Yes, there were fewer visitors at embedded world than in previous years, and this of course due to the current health risk from SARS-CoV-2. We respect the decision of all those exhibitors who withdrew their participation and were nevertheless pleased to be able to hold countless inspiring discussions.

πŸ€– We noticed that the world of embedded systems, the Internet of Things and machine learning is just as innovative as it has always been - and is already convincing with very tangible application stories. Companies are already working with solutions such as Sigfox in a highly productive way. The motto of this year's embedded world was "Connecting Embedded Systems" and during the exhibition it was clear that the Internet of Things continues to be an important innovation driver worldwide. The IoT has by no means reached its potential and naturally continues to evolve at a rapid pace. This is demonstrated by wireless technologies and their ongoing development, such as WiFi6, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2 and LPWA networks like Sigfox, LoRaWAN or MIOTY.

So, what's new at Paessler?

... Quite frankly, a lot. In a very concise overview we give you an impression of three groundbreaking new solutions. Do you want to know more than what is linked here? Give us a few more weeks, keep watching our blog and be amazed.

bit-decoder

Paessler BitDecoder (Discontinued)

πŸ€— IoT devices deliver LPWAN metering data and information in encoded payloads, usually in hexadecimal format. Paessler BitDecoder, which we first presented in November, supports developers in structuring, marking and decoding complex payloads; it transforms payloads in hexadecimal notation bit by bit into a more human-readable format!

node-red

PRTG Node-RED Connector

πŸ€— Yes, you read it right. We have created a native PRTG Node-RED Connector that can be used within Node-RED automation flows and that makes it easier to build software solutions for the Internet of Things than ever before. This offers new opportunities for the IoT, industry, and IT professionals!

One More thing

πŸ€— And there's one thing more: Let us present to you a cloud-native monitoring platform, tailored to your needs, as individual as your requirements:

πŸ‘‰ Solutions to monitor every thing

This platform consists of many individual building blocks, so you can build a solution tailored to your needs or select a predefined configuration specific to your industry or integrate selected blocks with your existing infrastructure.
