Yeah, you read it right. Not much longer and we will present the PRTG Desktop application for Linux!

What is PRTG Desktop?

PRTG Desktop is a free application to manage your PRTG installations. You can manage up to two freeware or trial editions of PRTG with PRTG Desktop, and an unlimited number of commercial editions of PRTG. Find more technical details about PRTG Desktop here.

After launching the client for Windows and macOS, the Beta for Linux is now just around the corner. We are still putting on the finishing touches, performing a few cosmetic changes and making sure the dark mode is as dark as it should be. 😉

When will the public beta start?

Give us a little more time, we will keep you posted here in our blog and in our weekly newsletter as soon as you can download and test the PRTG Desktop Beta for Linux. And then of course we need your feedback!

You haven't heard of our newsletter yet? This is how it looks, pretty cool actually! Just enter your email address into the blue box on the right-hand side. This is only for the newsletter, we won't annoy you with other advertising junk... 😊

Which Linux distribution do you use?

Before we kick off, I would like to know: On which Linux distribution would you use PRTG Desktop?

Just click or write your distribution into the discreet micro-survey slider that appears from the right side. We can’t wait to read your answers!

And here is a first sneak peek...
