If you are a maker, and you haven't been paying attention to our YouTube channel recently (why not???), then you're in for a treat! Because you've got a double-header waiting for you!

Our latest topic is Sonoff S20 Smart Sockets — and specifically, how to integrate one into our Home Assistant setup. In the first part, we flash the socket with Tasmota software (we explain in the video why we do this instead of using the default firmware), and then in the second part we set it up in Home Assistant. To make it that much easier, we've embedded both episodes in this blog post.

WHY ARE YOU EVEN STILL READING THIS??? Watch the videos!

Oh, and if you want to catch up step-by-step exactly how we set up our Home Assistant, and what we've hooked up to it so far, then watch our Maker Monday playlist!

What projects would you like to see us handle in the future? Let us know in the comments of this blog post, or on the YouTube videos.

And keep on making!
