Dirk founded Paessler in 1997 all alone in his living room. He was the CEO of Paessler's growing team until 2017, when he stepped away from the day-to-day business and moved on to be the chairman of the board. He is still deeply "connected" to the Internet, to networks and to monitoring things. His creative outlet is photography (see his portfolio or Instagram).
