Firstly, we will introduce you to our Paessler BitDecoder (update 1/2024: discontinued), a software-as-a-service application that serves as middleware between the physical IoT device out in the field and a specific endpoint (like a monitoring tool) by decoding complex binary payloads into a human-readable format. Secondly, we will show you how to use the new PRTG Node-RED-Connector to automatically feed information into PRTG Network Monitor, thus opening up the possibility to track a whole new range of data sources in the IoT and IIoT space.
