After winning the Network Computing Award for "Bench Tested Product of the Year" in 2015 and for "Network Management Product of the Year" as well as "Product of the Year" in 2014, we were really excited when we heard about our nominations for 2016. This time around we were nominated in no less than four categories:
- Software Product of the Year
- Network Management Product of the Year
- Product of the Year
- Company of the Year
The readers of Network Computing Magazine really meant well for us and voted PRTG Network Monitor not only "Network Management Product of the Year" but for the very first time Paessler was also honored with the "Company of the Year" award. Furthermore PRTG was runner-up for "Software Product of the Year" and "Product of the Year".
All About a Truly Fun Award Night
This year's award ceremony was again held at London's beautiful Russell Hotel on March 17th. When my colleague Dominik and I got to our table we soon found out that we were really lucky with all our table-mates. No matter what would happen—we could be sure to share some good laughs with our old and new friends during this night. After the main course the first part of the award ceremony started and we became more nervous with every category that passed. Luckily it didn't take too long before one of "our" categories was announced. We almost couldn't believe it, when we heard those magical words: "'Network Management Product of the Year' goes to Paessler!"
Happily hugging our award, we were ready for a little break to calm down when comedian Stephen Grant took the stage. He was quite brilliant and when he made some infamous jokes about us Germans we were probably laughing hardest in the room.
At the very end it was time for "the big one", the "Company of the Year" award. We were grinning like Cheshire cats when the winner was announced: Paessler. To win this prize really felt like the icing on the cake!
Of course this wouldn't have been possible without everybody who voted for us. Thank you so much for your support, this really means a lot to us.
